JunkMail v2.0
Overview
JunkMail is a Novell Network E-Mail program. JunkMail delivers a complete
mail system that includes batch send lists, urgent delivery, return receipts,
WordPerfect document import, and file attachments. JunkMail uses the Novell
bindery information, including the print queues, user lists, and the Novell
Broadcast function to simplify setup and maintenance. JunkMail requires a
Color monitor, Novell Network, and an HP Laserjet compatible printer.
Files Included with JunkMail
JunkMail creates the data files needed for normal execution. The supporting
files included with JunkMail are the Registration form, a short description
file, an icon file for Windows, and a manual.
Printing the Manual
To print the manual, you will need to copy the MANUAL.PCL file to the
printer. To correctly do this, type the following at the DOS prompt:
COPY /B MANUAL.PCL PRN
Note that the printer MUST be an HP Laserjet compatible printer.
Quick Start
To help you get up and going, simply copy the JUNKMAIL.EXE file into a
directory on your server, and then simply type JUNKMAIL. JunkMail will
create its' files and set itself up for your network. You can start using
JunkMail immediately!
What Registering Means to You
Registration ensures that you receive notification of updates. The
registered version also features a post-master mode, allowing you to delete
or redirect undeliverable mail. In addition, the registered version allows
you to use non-Novell names for the users, i.e. instead of JunkMail using the
names in the bindery, JunkMail can substitute other names from a table.
